While, visiting my friend, Kathy Shaw, in North Carolina at her beach home, I spent many mornings waking up to the beautiful sunrise sitting on the dock. On June 13, 2023 I decided to wake up early to see the sunrise and it was the perfect spot to speak to my father and quietly hear his sweet voice. It was my son, Kyle’s birthday that day, he is 28 years old. I couldn’t help but come to God with so much praise and gratitude that morning for my son. Kyle was celebrating one more year of the day he was born. About 12 years ago, I wasn’t certain if Kyle would be alive today. He suffered 3 1/2 years of treatment, emotional stress, and depression, due to the diagnosis of T cell leukemia , He beat it! I couldn’t express enough that morning how happy I was to be celebrating Kyle’s birthday. All of the praise and worship will never be enough for what God has done for me and for my son. All the while I was sitting on the dock, Kathy, was painting in her studio. When I walked in to meet up with her again, as soon as I walked into the studio, and looked at this painting, my heart sank and tears flow down my face. She had no idea who this painting was for until she saw my face. Instantly, I saw Jesus, holding my hand as I was caring my son, Kyle. He was always there for me through it all, lifting me up! He was there through the pain, the suffering, the doubt, the fears, the emotions, the financial losses and more. In the left bottom corner, the letter K, and a heart is formed. My name is Kellyn, my son is Kyle and my daughter is Kayla. God revealed to me that he loves us and watches over us. I see my daughter in this painting in the top right corner faintly. She is not lost. She will be found, and that is God’s promise to me. God sees a mother’s heart for her children, and I am not alone.

“The Lord had been calling me to pick up the paint brush and paint over the past two years, but fear caused me to doubt. Our faithful father introduced me to Kathy six months ago for mentorship, I was able to surrender during our first meeting, the anointing of the Holy Spirit fell upon me, and began flowing through me, a healing power rushed over me as well. The Lord revealed a secret, beautiful oasis, nestled in the woods, a place he took me to as a child, during a time of trauma, abuse, and sadness, when I wasn’t even aware of Jesus presence in my life. My painting represents that beautiful place. Kathy’s prophetic anointing has been a blessing to my life, I continue on this joy filled, love journey prophetically painting with Holy Spirit.”

I majored in the Arts and my passion has been painting animals among other things. I attended A prophetic art event given by Kathy. She paints with the Holy Spirit guiding her in color and brushstrokes.
I wasn’t sure what to expect in this event, but I knew it would be a new experience for me. My paintings have always been planned out and using a reference. Kathy prayed with me that I would have a vision of what I was to paint and that I would hear the colors and brushstrokes. I let God guide me through the painting. When I started having my own ideas about the painting, he immediately stopped me. It was very clear to me God did not like where I was taking the painting. I would have changed the whole message. I felt the Holy Spirit guide me and paint through me. God taught me a valuable lesson that day. Don’t question, just surrender to him and trust his plan. The painting perfectly convey the message he was giving me and that’s a beautiful thing.
